HM Structure

Harzlas HM is a series of thin-film layers coated on plastic substrates. Typically, it consists of a hard coat layer, HM layers, and an anti-fingerprint layer. We can customize the layers to meet the requirements for your project.

Anti-Reflection

Reflections disappear. Surface appears transparent.

Half-Mirror

Reflections enhanced. Surface appears mirror-like.

High Reflectance

Increase the amount of light reflected back to create a mirror-like appearance.

Excellent Environmental Resistance

The organic thin-film structure allows for resistance to thermal shocks and temperature fluctuations. It also can be used for thermoforming applications.

High Chemical Resistance

Cleanable with common household chemicals without worrying about deteriorating the coating.

Water and Oil Repellent

Easy clean smudges and fingerprints with our specially formulated anti-fingerprint coating.

High Durability

Excellent scratch and abrasion resistance for long lasting usability.

Consistent Reflected Color

Our highly controlled production process allows for the coating to be evenly applied at the nanometer level, resulting in a consistent reflection color throughout the substrate.

Low Electromagnetic Interference

The all plastic and organic materials structure allows for low electromagnetic interference. Transmittance + Reflectance ≈ 100%. Virtually zero light absorption.

Optical Properties

  • Reflective coatings starting from 15% up to 50% reflectance
  • Customizable reflection color options including red, green, blue, and silver.
