Harzlas

It is not Resin nor Glass. It is Harzlas.

Harzlas is an innovative material that combines the benefits of both plastic resin and glass. The name “Harzlas” was coined to denote Fukuvi’s trademarked panels that have optical thin-film coatings. In fact, the name itself is derived from combining the two words for resin and glass in the German language.

Fukuvi Harzlas has been used in a wide range of industries as anti-reflective panels, and continues to grow to include more.

Harzlas Product Lines

Reduced Reflections

Anti-Reflection is the core product of the Harzlas brand. It is used in automotive displays, medical monitor screens, as well as smaller uses such as sensor covers. If a surface can be enhanced by anti-reflection technology, we will find a way to incorporate it. Our anti-reflective products span a wide range of options that can be optimized for each project’s particular needs. Sheets can be coated with anti-reflective coatings either on both sides or on a single side.

Anti-Glare + Anti-Reflection

Visibility can be further improved by combining the benefits of both anti-glare and anti-reflection technology. This technology not only reduces the amount of light that is reflected, but also diffuses the reflected light to enhance clarity.

Flexible AR

Harzlas IML-AR can be used for thermoforming applications, such as for insert molding applications. The flexible coating allows for the coating to be evenly applied from edge to edge for a more consistent look. Realize 3D designs without sacrificing functionality.

Reduced Reflection for Glass

Based on our proven Harzlas AR technology, Harzlas ARG brings that same coating to glass substrates. The coating can withstand typical glass strengthening processes and is flexible, allowing for 3D applications. Expand your design capabilities using our ARG techonlogy.

Enhanced Reflections

Harzlas HM combines a mirror-like finish to reflect light while also maintaining its transparency to make a half-mirror. Light is not absorbed and does not produce electromagnetic interference, making it suitable for digital rearview mirrors and sunglasses.

Super Hard Coat

Our FH hard coat is optimized for durability and abrasion resistance, making it harder to scratch than glass. It can be used as an alternative to glass panels.

How is Harzlas made?

Unlike typical physical vapor deposition methods, Harzlas substrates are wet coated. By dipping substrates in our specially made tanks containing our original coating solutions, we are able to form nanometer level precise thin-film coatings.
